Spring is nearly gone Summer is coming in steamy HOT…Are you ready both inside and out?
Our most recent writing and website post seems like so long ago…and it has truly been way too long for this overdue post. Like so many…life has offered us a variety of unexpected twists and turns with the adventure feeling like the longest roller coaster ride of summer!
A famous and thought provoking quote by Albert Einstein states, “The important thing is not to stop questioning.” As lifelong learners seeking to embrace and encompass situations by asking questions and discovering solutions, all too often, we are reminded inquiry can be tricky, feisty, telling, and possibly frustrating especially when answers to questions come and we are unprepared. While questioning eventually leads to the next steps in solving a problem…in many cases, the problematic situation looms heavily, twisting and challenging our mindful tranquility.
A diagnosis, death, ongoing disease, an additional medical test ordered, rising costs such as gas prices, how to structure time with a long summer ahead which feels unplanned and perhaps scattered.
What, or more importantly, WHO needs most of your time?
Ponder this…Are there issues and people who you are willingly gazing at, when they should only have a glance before you move on? Are there individuals or situations you are merely glancing at yet you should be engaging and implementing a stance of gazing upon? Gazing in order to invest and grow?
At times we overfocus on the non-important and the important needs are dropped, maybe even avoided. Where is the balance? How are we to stay strong and carry on? The temperature is not only changing outside, what is going on internally with your temperature?
We’ve recently found ourselves questioning the stress of now… leaning… balancing… focusing…recalling positivity and mindfulness, but most of all wondering again…where has time gone and where are we headed? Perhaps the most important question is HOW and with WHOM are we going to continue the journey…and simultaneously in desperate need of a BREAK!
Are you breathing, seeking, and pursuing peace despite circumstance? The phone is ringing right now, it is the doctor’s office…currently putting peace into practice.
Per usual…we welcome thoughts from all and embrace the chance to learn collaboratively if you have any personal tips to share.
In the meantime…find your PEACE! We just may run into you on the quest!
